This filament winding machine adopts a gantry structure and is composed of carriage, winding nozzle, extension arm, main spindle, creel, resin bath, tow prepreg winding device (optional), and electrical control cabinet. The tension control system adopts the pneumatic servo tension control that controls the tension of each bobbin and the tow. The tension maintain function while equipment off-time is also integrated.

This equipment is applicable for carbon fiber, fiber glass, and other types of fiber and it is suitable for vessel (with identical polar openings or different openings), pipe, ball-shaped, cone-shaped, work piece assembly, and square-shaped work pieces winding.
